In the Name of Allah most gracious and merciful.
Indeed! We sent the Quran down during the night of Decree.

And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree?

The night of Decree is better than a thousand months (of worship)

The Angels and the Spirit(Jibril or Gabriel) descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter.

Peace!(All that night, there is Peace and Goodness from Allah to his believing slaves) until the appearance of dawn.

Allah the Honored said the truth.

The surah above was quoted as is from the Quran.

The night of power is a very important night for Muslims, as it is the holiest night of the whole year.We look for this day on odd days in the last 10 days of Ramadhan. Since we don't know the exact day it falls on, and one night of worship on that day is equivalent to a 1000 months of worship, we don't want to take the risk of missing it. Therefore it is advisable to wake up on all those odd nights and pray. Inshaa'llah! we will all remember to wake up at night and pray for Allah's blessings and forgiveness.
